The Apothecary Suite is our largest guest room, and is named after the beautiful Apothecary Rose. We have decorated this suite with antiques and oil paintings (of roses). The antique door knob & face plate on the entry door are from a 1910 San Francisco mansion, and the room key is an old-fashioned skeleton key! Inside the suite, there is a soft queen-sized bed, large closet, & chest of drawers. The room has a newly remodeled private bathroom with shower, pedestal sink, & toilet, and a private deck complete with hot tub. The room overlooks the site of our future trout pond, as well as our garden and llama pasture. The view of the valley and the vineyard next door is breathtaking! In the evenings, watch the sun set as you relax in the hot tub with a glass of local wine.

The Apothecary Suite - This is our largest guest room, named after the heirloom Apothecary Rose. This room is decorated with antiques and original oil paintings (depicting roses). It has its own private deck with seasonal hot tub, as well as its own private bathroom with shower, pedestal sink, and toilet. The deck overlooks the llama pasture, Secret Garden, and site of the future Trout Pond. There are also beautiful views of the vineyard next door. The deck faces west, so in the evenings you can watch the sun set while relaxing in the hot tub with a glass of local wine! The Duchesse de Portland Room is exquisitely decorated with antiques and oil paintings. The innkeepers fill vases with fresh roses, honeysuckle, and rosemary blossoms from the garden during the spring and summer months!

The Apothecary Inn is proud to display over 40 original oil paintings, watercolors, and sketches. The inn's newest acquisition - a painting by Y.W. Leung seen above - measures 7 feet long by 3 feet wide, and shows Chinese Junks (or sailboats) at sea. This painting is proudly displayed in the living room.Breakfast Course #1: Ginger-Pear Muffin with strawberries & chocolate mint for garnish
