General Information

COBBLESCOTE is a gracious circa 1915 waterfront villa situated on the on the western shore of beautiful Otsego Lake. Cobblescote has operated as a family oriented inn and resort since 1984. Interior appointments include dark walnut wainscoting and a large cobblestone fireplace in the great room. . Furnishings are a mix of Stickley mission and rustic Old Hickory log furniture. Cobblescote enjoys the warmth of the summer sunrise and the cool of the afternoon shade as the sun slips below the west mountain by mid afternoon. There is almost always a cool breeze from the lake. More often than not, guests here sleep with blankets most of the summer.

  The two carriage house studios each sleep 4 or 5. They both have a kitchen,living and dining area. One has a private deck and the other a private picnic area in front overlooking the lake. These rent for $295 nightly plus tax. SPECIAL: seventh night is FREE with weeks stay.
