General Information

Celtic Cottage is a New England Colonial Bed and Breakfast in the historic Stroudwater Village of Portland. During your stay we offer you warm hospitality, comfortable surroundings and a fresh hearty breakfast. After your meal consider a hike on the three Portland Trails just down the road or walk to the Tate House Museum (former home of Captain Tate mast agent to George III). Take in a Sea Dogs baseball game at Hadlock Field just 7 minutes from Celtic Cottage. Then it's time for afternoon tea at the B&B before a visit to the Portland Art Museum, the many galleries and boutiques in the Old Port. After, on to dinner in a city famous for its first class restaurants. Finally your return to Celtic Cottage for a restful night in a queen bed with down comforter in either The Irish or Scottish Room. If you prefer a twin bed with down comforter the Welsh Room is perfect for you.
