General Information

Stadtnest B&B is a family run, private accommodation in central location, in a safe residential area of Vienna, with only 5min walking distance to Vienna’s biggest shopping street „Mariahilfer Strasse“, with shops, banks, restaurants, coffee houses, and easy access to Vienna’s perfect public transport system (4 stops to St. Stephan’s square, i.e. 10min). Vienna’s lively Museums Quarter is in 10min walking distance, Vienna’s West Train Station “Westbahnhof” is in 8min. Schoenbrunn Palace can be reached by tram or subway in 15min.

Our two guest rooms have all amenities (private bathroom with shower/WC, Internet access, cable TV/DVD, fans, radio alarm clock, hair dryer). We are a non-smoking guesthouse.

We offer a full, organic breakfast each morning (incl our famous home made jams and bred). Breakfast is served from 8 to 9:30 am.

• Deposit amount required (min one night; for New Year's bookings entire amount)
• Check in time is 2:30 pm and Check out time is 10:30 am
• Cancellations:
  – 1 month before planned arrival date: no fees, deposit will be returned at cost of guest (in case of EU transfers NO FEES with correct indication of IBAN and BIC) 1 month – 14 days before planned arrival date: cancellation fee is 75% of deposit, remaining deposit will be returned at cost of guest (see above) 14 – 0 days before planned arrival date and no show: cancellation fee is 100% of deposit In case of preterm departure, or non-takeover of the accommodation, all originally booked nights will be charged (minus unconsumed breakfast). In case we are able to rent out the room to someone else for the exact dates of your cancelled booking, of course the total deposit will be returned (minus a handling fee of Euro 25 per booking). Cancellations of reservations for Christmas, New Year and Easter (Christmas Holidays from 22nd Dec to 7th January, Easter Week from Palm Saturday to Easter Monday), as well as bookings for holidays such as May Day, Corpus Christi, Pentecost, Ascension Day, 15th of August, Autumn holidays (All Saints etc) and 8th December: From less than 31 days before the reserved arrival date, your deposit (minus handling fee of Euro 25 per booking) will only be returned in case we are able to rent out the room to another guest for the exact dates of your booking. We therefore recommend our guests to take out travel insurance with a cancellation coverage. Thank you for your understanding.

• Directions to property:
  From Westbahnhof (Vienna's West Train Station) walk toward "Innere Mariahilfer Strasse" in direction of the city centre (if in doubt, please ask someone to point it out to you). At the traffic light "Mariahilfer Strasse/Kaiserstrasse" change to the right side of "Mariahilfer Strasse". "Stumpergasse" is then right in front of you (it is the third street on your right if you are coming down Mariahilfer Strasse on its right side). You cannot miss it, it is the only side street of "Marihilfer Strasse" that has a church at its end. On "Stumpergasse", the Stadtnest Bed and Breakfast is at number 29, about half way down the street on your right. When you are at building No 29, please enter through the first street side gate (which is never locked, so just push it open), proceed to the end of the entrance hall, turn right a few steps up to the entrance door. There is an intercom to ring. The B&B is then on the third floor.
• Directions from airport:
  Take the Airport Shuttle Bus directly from the Airport to Wien "Westbahnhof" (West Train Station). Runs every 20min and takes about 35min to Westbahnhof. Costs are Euro 6 per person one way. From Westbahnhof you can either take a taxi (about Euro 5-7 depending on your luggage), or - if you travel light - walk to Stumpergasse, as explained above. Or take a pre-reserved taxi directly to the Stadtnest B&B, it will cost you Euro 29 (only if booked in advance).
