Italian Sauce
Total preparation time: 15 min.Ingredients:
- Ingredients (for 2 persons): 10-15 tomatoes, 1 handful of pine nuts, 20 leafs of fresh basil,
- 50 g of parmesan (Italian cheese), olive oil, salt and pepper
Steps:
- Preparation: Cut the tomatoes in half and put them to cook with just a drop of olive oil for 4-5 minutes.
- Add the parmesan, the pine nuts and the fresh basil. Season with some salt and pepper.
- Pay attention not to overcook the sauce, otherwise the water in the tomatoes evaporates and the sauce looses its taste.
