Italian Sauce

Total preparation time:  15 min.

Ingredients:

  • Ingredients (for 2 persons): 10-15 tomatoes, 1 handful of pine nuts, 20 leafs of fresh basil,
  • 50 g of parmesan (Italian cheese), olive oil, salt and pepper

Steps:

  1. Preparation: Cut the tomatoes in half and put them to cook with just a drop of olive oil for 4-5 minutes.
  2. Add the parmesan, the pine nuts and the fresh basil. Season with some salt and pepper.
  3. Pay attention not to overcook the sauce, otherwise the water in the tomatoes evaporates and the sauce looses its taste.
