Pendragon Hall : Ki Sei Mein

Serves: 4Ingredients:
- 1 onion
- half kilo (1lb) minced steak
- 1 chopped carrot
- 2 sticks chopped celery
- 250gm (qtr lb) sliced green beans
- quarter shredded cabbage
- half cup uncooked rice
- 1 dessertspn hot or mild curry powder
- packet chicken noodle soup
- 4 cups boiling water
Steps:
- Lightly fry the first four ingredients until browned, in a largish pot on the stovetop .
- Add the rest of the ingredients. Cook quickly for 20 minutes and add salt and pepper. The flavour is even better the next day, if you can keep the family from having 'seconds' at mealtime!
