Dieting? Make It Fun!

We are offering two weekends before the Holidays (Dec. 4 & 5, Dec. 12 & 13) for people who are watching their weight. Bring your ideas, comments etc. to share. We will provide meals and snacks based on a Metabolism B diet - first stage - along with other healthy food for others on different diets. I have lost 13 lbs so far following the basic guidelines. As a chef, I have been having fun creating menus and ideas to share with you and make things easier for you at home. I can show you how in a short time you can organize and manage your snacks and meals for the week - making it easier to stay within any diet that you select. I can show you how your computer can help you plan and organize and calculate your meals. I can show you how to make it fun! We need a minimum of 5 rooms to book for these weekends to take place. Friday night welcome. Classes Saturday and Sunday Morning.
Two-night stay for two. Evening Snack and welcome gathering at 8pm Friday, Breakfast Saturday and Sunday, Mid-morning Snack Saturday (and one for the road on Sunday) Lunch, Afternoon Snack, Dinner at 7 pm. Evening snack for you to take to your room.

All inclusive (meals, grats, taxes, fees, etc.)
Discussions in Morning - Saturday afternoon free for shopping in the area. $400 queen room, $450 Queen Suite.

Welcome to our home. Come watch the stars come out! Relax, unwind, enjoy your stay at this peaceful, rural retreat. Natural gardens, hiking trails and an outdoor pool to enjoy in the summer. Private baths and private tables at breakfast. Centrally located for guests to enjoy nearby local sites and activities such as skiing, kayaking, biking, fishing, horseback riding. Visit the Vermont Country Store, explore the Green Mountains, shop in Manchester, see a fine play at the Weston Playhouse - your days can be as active or quiet as you choose! Events abound year-round for guests to enjoy and explore all within easy driving distances.

From tree peonies to poppies, daffodils to daylilies. Our natural country gardens are fun to explore and are people and pet friendly - meaning you can walk through them, peer under bushes, not just view them from a segregated distance. We strive to keep the historic country farm atmosphere - not highly manicured gardens, but natural organic gardens that feed the birds and others and offer a natural woodland and field setting with surprises.Our Dining room at the inn.
