General InformationArch Hall, built in 1796, residence of George Washington’s nephew, Lawrence Lewis and his wife, Martha Washington's grandaughter Nellie Custis. This 10 acre estate is situated on Belmont Bay in Fairfax. This historic home has 9 original wood burning fireplaces and offers 5 guest rooms. Formal gardens, antiques throughout, private dock, tennis court. We can also host your wedding or special event. Home to 74 varieties of butterflies & more than a dozen bald eagles. Your stay at Arch Hall Estate lets you experience life as it was lived in colonial times but with all the modern comforts we enjoy today.

3. Less than 48 hours in advance or early departure, guest forfeits the entire planned amount. Credit card is charged.

Washihgton DC, the national monuments and the Smithsonian Museums are all within a 20 minute drive from our door. Mount Vernon, Woodlawn Plantation and Gunston Hall Plantation are all within a few miles for your touring pleasure. Mount Vernon, Woodlawn Plantation and Gunston Hall are all open daily to visitors.
