    This was the perfect getaway for us. Everything was exactly as advertized. Quiet, ultra-comfortable rooms. Great view of the ocean from the room. Snacks and breakfast provided -- even homemade quiche on Sunday morning. We loved the super-roomy whirlpool bath. It filled quickly and stayed hot. Everything was amazing. Excellent restaurants within walking distance. We will definitely be back.

    My wife and I returned to Darlings after a few years absence. We were pleased that the high level of customer care remained. Jim & Dee were most helpful and considerate. Even though it was freezing outside, we enjoyed our private balcony and also the whirlpool tub! If you're looking for a quiet, private place for romance, with great amenities, we highly recommend Darlings by The Sea! William & Linda Brown Greensboro, NC

    Stayed during the off season in Feb. Enjoyed the local seafood restaurants. Quiet, great service, clean, enjoyed in room breakfast basket. Will be back!!

    We loved our stay at Darlings by the Sea. We had stayed here many years ago, so we knew what to expect of the room, but Jim and Dee were especially caring hosts. They not only gave us generous breakfast goodies but also enough snacks to last for days! We loved being able to hear the surf, watch the waves and relax on the balcony. Excellent value for a winter getaway.

    What a wonderful place; one can easily walk to the pier and restaurants. The beach is beautiful and the view from the room is priceless. Though the decor and facilities are a bit dated, everything is very clean and well maintained. There is even a i-pod dock. We can't wait to visit again.
