Narlyoak Lodge is about 20 minutes from the M1 (North or South). If coming from the North exit at junction 14 and head to Bedford on the A422. If coming from the South, exit at Junction 13 and head to Bedford on the A421. Coming from Cambridge come in to Bedford on the A428 and follow it through the town center.
Take the A6 north towards Rushden and Kettering and at the first large roundabout as you leave Bedford take the 2nd turning off to Clapham Village, do not go on the bypass. On entering the village take the first turning on the right, Green Lane. If coming from the North down the A 6 follow the road from Milton Ernest and then take the left hand turn off the bypass to Clapham. Come through the village, and take the last left hand turn after the Horse and Groom Inn.
You’ll enter the village on the Clapham Road. If coming from Bedford take your first turn on the right called Green Lane. If coming from the North (Bromham, Oakley, etc) then it’s the first left turn after the House and Groom pub.
Proceed up Green Lane for about half a mile, until the road forks three ways. Take the very left hand fork, called The Baulk. (If you see the club house for the golf course turn around – you went too far!)
Follow The Baulk as it twists around a mobile home called Peppercorn Park and past houses on the right. The road will now become a private road as it starts to pass through fields but is perfectly passable, just slow down (You’ll appreciate the peace and quiet this road helps provide in a couple of short minutes).
As you crest the top of the hill, Narlyoak Lodge will appear on your left hand side. Enter at the back of the property through the wrought iron gates. There is ample parking off to your right hand side. - Nearest major airport: LTN 20 miles
