General Information

The Perpetual Kettle B&B hosts welcome you to relax and enjoy our hospitality where spectacular views calm your spirit and renew your sense of awe and wonder at any time of the year. We are located in a quiet forested glacial valley and have superb mountain views in every direction.

Our home offers the coziness of a fireplace, open cathedral ceilings, picture windows and a large deck where you can unwind at the end of a busy day. The fire ring by the garden beckons you to try your hand at the perfect marshmallow amid chattering squirrels and birds, and the occasional wandering moose! We serve a hearty continental breakfast you can enjoy at your leisure. The kettle is always on! With only 2 rooms available, you will be truly be able to get away from it all. Welcome!

    Full refund with 2 weeks notice. 50% with 1 week notice. Less than 1 weeks notice will forfeit the deposit.

  • Directions to property:
    Coming south on the Seward Highway turn left at mile 6.3 onto Stoney Creek Ave. There will be a large blue services sign indicating the turn. At mile 8 there is a green Grouse Creek sign (in case snow has covered the mile markers) which is an indicator that you are getting somewhat close to your turn. Once on Stoney Creek Ave. make a right turn onto Bruno Road and when you reach the bridge, go over it. When you reach a “T” street called Cherrywood, begin counting houses; we are the 5th house on the left. Our address is 13296 Bruno Road. Our home is beige, with a brown roof and has lots of windows. Large pine trees adorn the front yard, along with some small mountain ash.

    From International Airport Road take Minnesota south. It turns into O'Malley. From O'Malley turn right (south) onto the Seward Hwy. The drive south to Seward as 120 miles or approx 2 hours 15 min. Stoney Creek Ave. is your turn to the property at mile 6.5. Then follow directions to the property.

Innkeepers

  • Innkeeper(s): Scott and Ruth Adams
    Scott & Ruth visited Seward in 1991 on a train ride from Anchorage to Seward. We found Seward to be one of the most beautiful places we had ever experienced. When we had an opportunity to live here after 3 years in Kodiak and 5 in Ketchikan, we jumped at it! Scott enjoys hunting, fishing, camping, hiking, & sightseeing. Ruth enjoys gardening and singing. Scott is a law enforcement officer for National Marine Fisheries, & Ruth is a secretary for Seward Middle School during the school year.
