General Information

The North Hero House Country Inn and Restaurant is a historic bed and breakfast located in the Lake Champlain Islands of northern Vermont with a spectacular view of the Green Mountains and Mount Mansfield.

The 26 room inn is open year round and is ideal for vacations, weddings and conferences. Built in 1891 the inn has been beautifully restored with antiques and modern conveniences required by today’s travelers.

Four season activities include boating, swimming, tennis, golf, fishing, ice fishing, windsurfing, fall foliage, bird watching, biking , duck hunting, ice skating, snow shoeing, wine tasting, many festivals and more....

    This dish is a local favorite and people travel for miles to enjoy it.

  • Minimum stay required (Two night minimum stay on weekends from June 1st through October 26th)
  • Smoking is not allowed (No smoking in rooms or on porches. Outside is acceptable.)
  • We cannot accommodate guest pets
  • Children are welcome
  • No childcare is provided
  • Consumption of alcohol is permitted
  • Deposit amount required (We require a valid credit card number and a deposit of the cost of one night's stay at the time of reservation.)
  • Check in time is 2:00 pm and Check out time is 11:00 am
  • Cancellations:
    Cancellations within 30 days of arrival will incur a charge of one night's stay. Cancellations within 14 days of arrival will incur a charge of the full amount of the stay. All cancellations will incur a $25.00 handling fee.
