Romantica
The name says it all. the ancient abbess was the last to dwell here, and her aura still seems to pervade this room.
The only addition to the eighteenth century layout is the bathroom. The massive walls (33 inches thick) , frescoed barrel vault, whitewashed walls, everything conjures drama from the past. The otherwise severe atmosphere is warmed up by the rich textiles and graceful Italian and French period pieces.
