Therese-Malten-Villa

  • Inn Details

We invite you to spend your Dresden visit in a historical villa, built in 1893 for Therese Malten, a famous singer at the Semper opera Dresden. In the small hotel we offer you 5 guest rooms and an apartment with attached bathrooms and a guest kitchen. We will be happy to serve you a rich breakfast in the mornings of your holidays. You can spend the night of an eventful day on the terrace or in the big garden, where you can enjoy the views of the river Elbe and the Pillnitz castle. During the cold seasons you can let the day fade away in front of the fireplace.

Therese-Malten Villa is a beautiful house with a beautiful garden. The rooms are magnificent as well the hospitality and the service. Additional value: a splendid kitchen where one can cook one's meal (and find nice local wine) and the bike rental We stayed there for about a week (beginning of September 2009), in a perfect, marvellous silence. Ms Sharfe helped us with books, maps, tips on places and walks. What else? We plan to go again next year!

We stayed in this lovely villa in August 2009. It was spot on. The ideal place to start exploring Dresden and the Elbe valley with the mountainous part towards the Czech border. The villa itself was stylish, very well maintained without being over luxurious and the surroundings near the small ferry to the lovely Pilnitz palace took you back to the 19th century. A very recommendable and special place to stay. Ladies from Amsterdam.
