The Oaks is a Premier Bed and Breakfast & Special Events Center located in the Piney Woods of East Texas.

Kick back and relax and enjoy the beauty that surrounds you. At the Oaks you will find luxury, serenity, and amenities that speak of Southern hospitality.

We are located on a gentle hill over looking 15 acres of pastures where beautiful horses graze.

A swimming pool, spa, and personal massage therapist are at your disposal. Elegant bedrooms and a large meeting room is available for wedding receptions or other special life events. There is a special room for scrapbooking, cropping and stitching retreats. Book your corporate retreats here. The surrounding area offers many amenities, such as antique shopping, nearby nature preserve, zoo, museums, excellent restaurants and Amtrac service, plus “shop till you drop” Canton’s famous First Monday.

  • Our signature dish is Sourdough Crepes & Pancakes
    Thin pancakes or crepes made from a 40 year old sourdough starter served with blue berries and maple syrup or as Ricotta cheese/blueberry Blintzes. Sourdough French toast is also available. This dish is from home made San Francisco sourdough French bread soaked in seasoned egg, seared on both sides then baked to a fluffy, crisp doneness.
