Helene May Caplan's Noodle Koogle
Total preparation time: 1 hour
Serves: 24Ingredients:
- 6 eggs
- 2 cups Milk
- 1 1/2 cups Sugar
- cup Sour Cream
- 1 cup Cream Cheese
- 1 cup Farmer's Cheese
- 1/2 cup Butter
- 1 cup Cottage Cheese
- 1 lb 16 Ounce Package of Medium or Small Egg Noodles Uncooked
- 2 tablespoons Corn Starch
- 1 tablespoon Vanilla
- 1 cup 1 Cup Cinnamon and Sugar
- 1/4 cup Slivered Alomonds 1/4 to what you like.
Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Cook (boil) noodles on stove. Take all ingrediants (execpt cinnamon and sugar/almond topping)and mix together in mixer till liquid. Poor into greased rectanglur cake pan(9" x 13") Drain Noodles and poor into mixture in pan. Take a fork to spread mixture evenly. Sprinkle cinnamon and sugar ontop. Than sprinkle sliced alomonds on top.
- Bake in oven for 50 minutes. Test with toothpick. If toothpick comes out clean, koogal is done.
- Koogle can be served hot with a meal or cold. Makes a great side dish or dessert.
