Fried Cheese Hors d'oeuvre: Appetizer-Snack

Ingredients:

  • 2 Beaten Eggs

  • 2 cups bread crumbs mixed with 1 tsp. parsley, 1/2 tsp. garlic powder

  • 6 wedges Gruyere Cheese

  • 1 1/2 pints Cooking Oil

Step 1:

Dip cheese in eggs, then in seasoned bread crumbs.

Step 2:

In small sauce pan, heat oil until hot, 375 degrees. Place cheese wedges on skimmer and immerse in hot oil. Watch closely as it only takes a few seconds to brown & the cheese to be slightly soft.

Step 3:

Drain on paper towel - Serves Two
