My boyfriend is a history nerd, and especially loves Colonial American History. For his birthday, I decided to make a weekend out of this interest. So we stayed at Taylor's Corner, and visited Old Sturbridge Village just a short drive away. It was absolutely charming, and exactly what I wanted it to be like- romantic and quiet! Our hosts Brenda and Kevin made us delicious breakfasts, and even met our vegetarian diet demands. So Peaceful!

Quiet relaxing inn. Great breakfasts. Brenda went out of her way to make everyone comfortable and provided excellent information of local attractions, hikes, etc. Even went so far as to dvr yoga shows so Sue could get in her exercise when she had the time. Definitely a B & B where we will go back to. Thanks Brenda and Kevin.

This was our second stay at Taylor's Corner. Our first stay was only overnight but this time we stayed for a week and except for one night had the place entirely to ourselves. The entire house is distinctly colonial. We stayed in the Blue Room, very spacious and homey including a fireplace that we unfortunately did not use. I would have liked a tub but the shower was fine. I was also hoping for a rocking chair but the blue room has an additional single bed. Our queen bed was high off the floor and incredibly comfortable. The dining room was very comfortable and inviting. A side screen door provides direct access to the vast back yard where Adirondack chairs invite you to sit, read and relax. So bring a good book (or electronic device). Our hostess, Brenda, attends culinary school and puts it to wonderful use cooking gourmet country breakfasts: waffles, egg caseroles, blueberry pancakes, home made bread (made at school). We couldn't wait to see what treats she brought home from school: cookies, layer cake, jelly roll, not to mention the truffles that greeted us when we arrived. We walked around the corner to Taylor Brook Winery. We drove scenic route 169, toured Roseland Cottage and had tea at Mrs Bridges Tea Room. We did get to have one wonderful evening with both Brenda and her husband Kevin. We shared conversation, laughs and wine. They are young, ambitious, hard working and very involved in their community. They both appear to truly love what they're doing and take pleasure in their guests. We had a magical, romantic, relaxing vacation and will miss Taylor's Corner, but I took lots of pictures and it will be in our hearts and in our memory. To Brenda & Kevin all our very best wishes for health, happiness and continued success at Taylor's Corner and all your future plans & ventures. Ann & Art Searle

My stay here was a wonderful experience. Brenda, the innkeeper, was there to greet me and give me a tour of her home -- it was lovely, with many beautiful antiques in every room. I had the Blue Room, and the bed as so comfortable, I slept for 10 hours staight, which was a bonus! The B&B is surrounded by a beautiful garden, and the chairs out under the tree were so inviting, if I'd had more time I would have liked to spend some time reading out there. The evening I arrived, she had cookies and fruit set out in the dining room in case people were hungry, and the home-cooked breakfast the next morning was a perfect start to the day.
