General Information

East Brother Light Station is a beautifully restored Victorian Lighthouse Bed and Breakfast Inn perched atop an island in the strait that separates San Francisco and San Pablo Bays. Located 30 minutes from downtown San Francisco, the lighthouse Bed and Breakfast is close enough for a weekend jaunt or as a unique complement to your San Francisco/Northern California visit.

A stay at the lighthouse includes champagne & hors d’oeuvres upon arrival, a multi-course dinner with wine and a full gourmet breakfast the next morning. Our guests are also provided with a full tour of the island.

  • Cancellations:
    Cancellations for overnight visits are subject to a $30 service charge. Overnight cancellations made with less than 30 days notice will be refunded, at 90% of the cost paid, less a $30 service charge, only if the reservation can be rebooked. If the reservation cannot be re-booked, the entire amount is non-refundable. Day use payments are non-refundable unless the visit is cancelled by East Brother Light Station, in which event, full refund will be made.

    From Marin: Cross the Richmond-San Rafael Bridge. There is no Point Molate exit from this direction, so you’ll need to take the Richmond Pkwy / PT Richmond exit instead. Keep RIGHT at the fork in the ramp, merge onto Castro St., go under the freeway, then take the right hand on-ramp for I-580 West, heading back towards the bridge. Just before the toll plaza, take the Point Molate exit (right). Follow signs to Point San Pablo Yacht Harbor. From East Bay: From Interstate 80 (either direction), take the San Rafael exit to Interstate 580 West towards the Richmond-San Rafael Bridge. Just before the toll plaza, take the Point Molate exit (right). Follow signs to Point San Pablo Yacht Harbor. The access road to the harbor is hilly, very bumpy and not well-maintained. Proceed with caution.
