Located in the charming village of Damariscotta, Alewives & Ales B&B is within walking distance of a variety of quaint shops, refreshing restaurants and the working water front. Our four acres provide a private, quiet atmosphere in which to read, reflect or nap. After a peaceful night's sleep in one of our three guestrooms, a hearty breakfast will energize you to experience your preferred type of exercise or enjoyment. We provide a convenient base for exploring the midcoast region of Maine and a welcoming home to which to return after a full day of pleasant activities.

    From the south Take I-95 north When you see the signs for Gloucester, MA, move to the right lane and take the exit toward Portsmouth, NH (95N). Continue for about 124 miles and take exit 44 to merge onto I-295 through Portland. After about 28 miles, take exit 28 for US-1 Bath/Brunswick. In Brunswick, be aware that there is a left turn to stay on US-1 north. After about 27 miles, exit onto US-1Business Route (ME Rtes 129/130). Bear to the right after the brick Congregational Church in Newcastle and cross the bridge into Damariscotta. Just before the set of lights, take a right onto the Bristol Road (Rtes 129/130). Continue for 1/3 of a mile and take a left onto High Street. We are #22.

Turn right at Congress St./Me-22/ME-9(signs for Portland/Airport exit). After about 2 miles, merge onto I-295 N via the ramp to Falmouth. After about 24 miles, Take exit 28 and follow the directions to the property.
