General Information

Toronto Garden Inn Bed and Breakfast is a two and a half story Victorian townhouse built in the 1890's. The historic character of the house is enhanced with antique furniture and decor. We have 6 guest rooms, a large guest lounge,
kitchen/dining room and a garden deck which are all available for the enjoyment of our guests. We provide a continental breakfast, wireless internet, guest computer, hot instant beverages, A/C, cable TV, alarm-clock radios and a phone for free local calls.

We are located in the heart of downtown Toronto near Dundas Square, Yonge Street, the Church Street Gay Village, Eaton Center, St. Michael’s Hospital, St. Lawrence Market, the historic Distillery District, Cork town, Cabbage town, Greek town, Roy Thompson Hall, Elgin Theater, York ville, Air Canada Center, Rogers Center, University of Toronto, Ryerson University, the Financial District, Royal Ontario Museum, and the Art Gallery of Ontario. Toronto’s fine restaurants, cafes, clubs and bars are within walking distance or few minutes away by public transit at the door.

  From Union Station you can either take a taxi, approximately $10.00 or you may also take public transit. If you choose to take transit take the Yonge Subway Line north to Dundas station and remember to take a paper transfer at the ticket seller. Get off at the Dundas Street station and take exit to the South West corner of Dundas and Yonge Streets. With the transfer take the streetcar going east and get off at Sherbourne Street and walk one block east to Seaton Street and then head south to 142. By Gardiner Expressway take the Jarvis Street exit and turn left heading north. You travel north on Jarvis Street until you come to Shuter Street and turn right heading east on Shuter.. After you pass Sherbourne Street , take Seaton Street which is on your left and you will see Toronto Garden Inn on your left at #142.

  From Pearson International Airport you may take the airport limousine for $35 - $45 which is the least expensive way for more than one person door to door. You may also take Airport Express bus service for $15 per person. This will take you to the Delta Chelsea Hotel in downtown on Gerrard St. West. Taking a taxi from there to Toronto Garden Inn B&B will cost approximately $7.00.
