General Information

Constructed in 1870 as a carriage barn, Pelham Court’s original building is listed on the National Register of Historic Buildings. Over the past year, the building has undergone extensive renovation and conversion into 8 luxury, one-bedroom suites. A complementary new building containing 2 one-bedroom suites, 1 two-bedroom suite and a large three-bedroom suite has been added to form a private courtyard with the original historic building. At present time only the carriage building is available for occupancy with the new courtyard addition opening in midsummer.

No detail has been overlooked in Pelham Court’s renovation and expansion. Every effort has been made to create an environment that is relaxed yet elegant. The quality of the property is evident throughout. Inlayed hardwood floors, handcrafted cabinets, granite counters and stainless steel appliances in the kitchens, marble bathrooms, oriental carpets, classic furnishing and artwork reminiscent of historic Newport. Pelham Court blends the refinements and charm of an Old World boutique hotel with the modern convenience and luxury of a first class American resort.
