The Sandbar B&B is located in the heart of Nags Head, directly across the street from the beach. We offer a relaxing and comfortable atmosphere to enjoy your Outer Banks beach vacation experience. All of our rooms have a private bath, access to multiple decks and our own private pool. We are walking distance from excellent shopping, dining and entertainment!

    Out of the airport, follow 64E toward Va Beach/Chesapeake for 12 miles. Take exit 291B for Elizabeth City onto 464S, about 1/2 a mile. Take the Nagshead/Manteo exit onto 168S and follow until it becomes 158S, which takes you onto the island. Drive about 10 miles until the Eighth Street light (RiteAid on corner) and turn left to get over to the Beach Road (US 12). The Sandbar is 2508 at MP 10.5 on the right side of the road (opposite the beach).
