Let us make your stay even easier. We will reserve your tickets on the Texas State Railroad (with excursions from the Palestine depot) and prepare an exquisite lunch with wine or the beverage of your choice to take on the train and enjoy either lakeside at the Rusk Depot or in the park at the Palestine Depot. This package is $30.00 per couple.

Why try and find a romantic restaurant in town? The Texas Railroad Inn offers its guests full-course dinners in its lovely dining room for $30 per person. Dinners include gourmet appetizers, salad, entree, and dessert, accompanied by one of our favorite wines or another beverage of your choice. Our guests rave about the kitchen offerings.

As you enter the front parlor, step back into times past. Built in the late 1800's our home is full of history, charm and Texas hospitality.Conversation, books, Texas history, and a little nap in between - it's all yours at the Texas Railroad Inn
The parlor, with its huge bay window seat and fainting couch welcomes each visitor back to the late 1800's with period antiques and lets you enjoy the Texas sunshine.The Stephanie Suite bath offers all the comforts of home, plus a few.
Our wonderful dining room seats 10 quite comfortably. Enjoy the morning sun while awaiting your gourmet breakfast and hot tea or freshly-brewed coffee.The Christina Suite, our largest and most airy, invites you in with its huge bay window and antique Eastlake loveseat. Awake to the sounds of a train whistle or to the Texas sunshine beaming in.
The tall antique bed in the Christina suite will make you forget your troubles and stress, snuggling down amidst the fine linens on a heavenly mattress. Enjoy the East Texas sunshine on one of our two front porches, and listen to the train whistling from the state park nearby.
The Depot is your romantic, private retreat. Great for honeymooners, anniversary celebrations, and also for the small family: sleeps 4.The Depot offers guesta a king platform bed and a comy futon for lounging, sitting back looking out the big picture window or watching a DVD from our collection.
The Depot is cozy, quiet and the perfect getaway for those wanting complete privacy. The Depot sits well behind the main house and guests can park just off the porch. It is outfitted with a TV/DVD player, microwave, coffee pot & coffee, as well as other kitchette needs.Yes, this cozy bed is as high as it looks. Guests climb up and enjoy a dreamy sleep on luxury linens and an exquisite mattress.
The Stephanie Suite bed allows guests to sleep in, awakening to the aromas and freshly brewed coffee and breakfast in the making.These wonderful reading chairs allow our guests to sit back, put their feet up, and relax with a good book or just enjoy the view of our acreage throug their windows.
