Welcome to the Carriage House on Capitol Hill. This private home bed and breakfast comprises a newly constructed main house and a historic Coach house built at the turn of the last century. Antique shopping is a favorite pastime of your hostess. There are 4 guest rooms in the new main house of the B&B. The separate historic Coach House Townhouse has it's own living room, 1.5 baths, 2 comfortable bedrooms, and dining area with a refrigerator, small range, microwave and coffee maker. Both hosts are long time Washington DC residents. Together with their son, and Mimi & Boots (Cat & Dog), they make their home here on Capitol Hill.

Your hosts who both work for NASA have decorated their home with a mix of new furniture and treasured hand picked antiques. Antique shopping is a favorite pastime of your hostess. Your hostess enjoys gardening as evidenced by the developing new gardens at every corner of the property.

Deposit amount required: We require a nonrefundable deposit of $50.00 per B&B room reserved, or $100 for the Townhouse.

Cancellations: All cancellations must be called in directly to Bed and Breakfast DC. In order to allow us a reasonable amount of time to resell a reserved room, any cancellations must be received by the balance due date (usually 2 weeks prior to arrival) to guarantee that no additional charges to your credit card are applied. Any cancellation made after the balance due date, will result in a refund only for any days Bed and Breakfast Accommodations is able to resell to another party. This refund would not include the deposit amount. Any reservation made less than 2 weeks prior to arrival (under the cancellation policy) is considered non-refundable/non-cancelable and would result in a refund only for any days Bed and Breakfast DC is able to resell. Any refund of nights resold is issued automatically, minus the original deposit.
