Texas Barbecue Sauce: Sauce

Ingredients:
1 large onion, finely chopped

4 tablespoons shortening

1 tablespoon chili powder

1 1/2 cups tomato paste

1/2 cup chili sauce

3 tablespoons worcestershire sauce

Salt, pepper, and tabasco to taste
Step 1:
Cook 1 large onion, finely chopped, in 4 tablespoons shortening for 5 minutes. Add 1 tablespoon of chili powder, 1-1/2 cups of tomato paste, 1/2 cup chili sauce, 3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce and salt, pepper and Tabasco to taste. Bring to a boil and simmer for 15 minutes.
