Craftsman Coffee Cake

Serves: 16Ingredients:
- 2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 cup packed light brown sugar
- 1 cup finely chopped pecans
- 1 cup softened butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 3 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 cup sour cream
Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Grease and flour, we use Pam Baking, a 10 inch Bundt or tube pan.
- Mix Topping: Mix together the cinnamon, brown sugar and chopped nuts in a small bowl.
Sift dry ingredients: Sift flour, baking powder and soda into a separate bowl.
- In a mixer, cream the butter and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time and vanilla. Beat well. Add flour mixture alternately with sour cream until incorporated.
- Pour one-third of the batter into the prepared pan. Sprinkle with one-third of the topping. Repeat layering, ending with with topping.
- Bake 40 - 45 minutes. Allow cooling in the pan on a wire rack. Loosen the sides if needed and invert onto a serving plate.
