Czech Apple Strudel

Serves: 10Ingredients:
- 2/3 cup Margarine or Butter
- 1 cup Warm Milk
- 3 cups Sifted White Flour
- 2 Eggs
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 4 1/2 cups Apples
- 1 cup Sugar
- 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
- 1/2 cup Vanilla Wafers
- 1/2 cup Raisins
- 1/2 cup Pecans Chopped
Steps:
- Combine butter, milk, flour, eggs and salt until dough is smooth. This makes enough dough for 4 strudels. Divide into 4 equal parts. Other ingredients are per strudel so when grocery shopping, buy accordingly.
- Roll each part of dough on pastry sheet until very thin. Brush with melted butter. Spread evenly with sliced apples. Sprinkle sugar, cinnamon, vanilla wafers, raisins and pecans.Drizzle a small amount of melted butter on top.
- Roll up like jelly roll onto a greased baking sheet. Brush top of strudel with melted butter. Bake for 1 hour at 350 degrees or until golden brown.
- Cut into 10 to 12 thin slices and serve.
