My Husband and I stayed here while attending a wedding in September. We had a wonderful weekend stay with Hotel Burgess. As you walk in the front door you are quickly brought back to the Victorian era that makes you think you might be fantasizing. The beautiful hand crafted wooden stairs take you up to a charming long hallway of rooms. Some of which were open for viewing. Each room has its own elegance and coziness. My husband and I fell in love with all the furniture and we almost went home with a piano. If you're looking for a dreamy room with vintage afterthoughts this hotel is for you. ~The Popejoys

Don't waste your time or money- Was looking for a unique experience as promised with antiques and musuem quality tour, as was advertised, but was declined to us when we inquired about it seeing other rooms. I have a great interest in bed and breakfasts and was excited for a night away from the family, looking forward to a change of scenery. Was hoping to return for a better experience, but the "check out" couldn't have been any less welcoming. I know the economy is tough for this sector of businesses, but I feel it shouldnt effect your stay at any hotel. Good luck and hope your attitude to people that still have a optimistic approach to life are a little better welcomed.

Never been to Reedley before and what a pleasant time we had. Weather was raining the entire time but the hotel is situated so perfectly that we were able to walk to dinner, shopping, opera house and to church without problems. The beds are so comfortable you forget you are not at home. Dining was not included, but we believe that had it been, it would have exceeded our expectations also. Such a friendly staff. I have trouble with stairs and I use a cane. The stairs are very wide and have hand rails all the way up, so it was not too much of a problem. It made our wedding anniversary stay a total pleasure. If we ever have the opportunity to spend the night again, this is the first place we will choose. Charming and comfortable. You will not be sorry.

Very nice place in the Valley

This was my second stay at Hotel Burgess. Very nice ammenities and like staying at a historic museum. The staff was very kind and helpful. There's no dining at the hotel but several very nice places within half a block. Thank you, again, Michael and Samantha for a very comfortable stay. We'll definately be back.
