My husband and I are avid readers, especially when it comes to local history, and Ron and Dan (friendly innkeepers and our new friends) have stocked their many shelves with wonderful reads. And then there's the food: fine cheeses & fruit & wine welcomed us in the afternoon, and breakfast included homemade muffins, the yummiest I've ever had. Grounds are lovely, the town a quaint find in the beautiful Berkshires. This is a house that keeps its character, welcomes guests with the best of modern hospitality, and makes you want to return.

I spent a few days at the wonderful Berkshire 1802 House and could not have asked for a better vacation. It was just what the doctor ordered. Great room, great guest areas, fabulous breakfasts, and very friendly and accommodating hosts. I will definitely return again....and again.
