General Information

LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION, PRICE, PRICE, PRICE, & QUALITY, QUALITY, QUALITY! If it sounds too good to be true, it usually is, but not at Jersey City’s Bed and Breakfast which is ONLY ONE MILE TO MANHATTAN! EVERY ROOM INCLUDES A COMPUTER AND PRINTER WITH HIGH SPEED INTERNET ACCESS, Wi-Fi, Air conditioning, Alarm clock, Amenities Basket filled daily with fresh fruit, Bath robes, CD player, Ceiling fans, Coffee/Tea facilities, DVD Player, Desk, Fax Machine, Fridge w/ beverages restocked daily, Microwave, Coffee Maker, etc.

With prices & quality like ours, why would anyone stay anywhere else?

FROM TODAY, WHICH IS JULY 24th, UNTIL AUGUST 11th OUR ONLY AVAILABLE ROOM IS ON FRIDAY, AUGUST 1st. All other rooms are reserved until August 11th.

Here is our complete current availability as of Thursday, July 24, 2008, at 4:00 PM Eastern Standard Time. We will update this on a very regular basis. This tells all our availability until May 31 of 2009.

In July all of our rooms are already reserved.

In Aug. we currently have exactly 1 room available 9 of the 31 nights. Aug. 1, 11, 14, 19, 23, 24, 25, 27 and 28 all are still available. The other 22 nights in August all of our rooms are already reserved.

In Sept. we still have availability on Sept. 1, 2, 13, 14, 15, 17, 18, 21, 24, 26, 29, & 30. The other 18 nights in Sept. all of our rooms are already reserved.

October still has at least one room available on October 1, 2, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 11, 12, 13, 14, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 24, 29, 30, and 31. The other 10 nights in October all of our rooms are already reserved.

From Nov. 1 of 2008 until May 31 of 2009 we have at least one room still available. The busier weeks are booking up quickly, especially around the holidays. If you want to get a specific room then please let us know as soon as possible what exact dates you will be visiting the Manhattan area & also which room you prefer. Policies

• No minimum stay required
• Smoking is allowed in limited areas (We have a backyard and two balconies where you can smoke,)
• We cannot accommodate guest pets
• Children are welcome (We have two 5 year old boys so all children are welcome.)
• Childcare is provided (We will get you a reliable babysitter for $10 per hour.)
• Deposit amount required (Deposit amount required (100% of the room charge will be charged to your credit card within 24 hours after your reservation. If you pay cash on departure, a credit will be given.))
• Check in time is 3:00 PM and Check out time is NOON
• Cancellations:
  Cancellations: If you cancel 30 days before your arrival date then an 80% refund will be given. We have the cheapest prices in the NYC area so we have to be somewhat strict about our cancellation policies. Within 24 hours after you book your room we will charge your credit card 100% of your visit and most likely no refunds will be given unless you cancel at least 30 days before your stay. As I already stated, if you cancel 30 days before your arrival date then an 80% refund will be given. However, no refunds will be given at all if you cancel within 30 days of your arrival date unless we book someone else in your room for that night; then a refund will be given to you within 48 hours after we book another guest in the room you had already paid for. Please remember that a 20% administrative fee will be charged to all cancellations that are cacelled 24 hours or more after your credit card has been charged for the days of your stay with us. If you reserve your room more than 90 days in advance, you may request us to not charge you the full amount immediately. If you request this at the time of your reservation we will charge your credit card only 20% of the total cost of your stay instead of the entire bill. If you cancel your reservation within 30 days of your arrival date, only a 20% administrative fee will be charged to your credit card. In other words, you will get an 80% refund. However, 30 days before your arrival date the entire cost of your stay will be charged to your room (the 80% balance) and then all policies above will apply. Check in time is 3:00 PM and Check out time is NOON However, please call or E-mail us if you need to check out late on your day of departure or if you need to arrive early on your arrival date. In almost all cases we will probably be able to accomodate you.

You will be Merging onto RT-139 West (also called Hoboken Ave) Turn left at Baldwin Ave.(This is the 2nd traffic light after the exit;Palisade Ave. is the 1st Go exactly 8 traffic lights and turn left onto Montgomery Street. Go 1 block and turn left onto Mill Road. Go one block and make a left onto Mercer Street. We are at 442 Mercer Street. We are the first house on the right. There's a big white gate in front of the house. To get here from other locations we suggest you go to .mapquest and type in 442 Mercer Street in Jersey City, NJ. The zip is 07302.
