This 1894 Victorian is furnished with beautiful period antiques and accessories. Your cozy stay will take you back to the 1890s... slower... quieter. Two parlors are here for your comfort... one with an often lit wood burning fireplace. Melt away in our pillowtop 1880 queen size beds in our three Elegant guest rooms . Fabulous breakfasts are included with your stay prepared by our daughter... a Certified Chef. We are CLOSE TO EVERYTHING you want to do. Located on the doorstep of the David Davis Mansion Historic site, Abraham Lincoln often walked through the property that was originally part of the Davis Estate while on his way to visit his close friend, Judge Davis. (Don't miss the mansion tour). Just 5 blocks from wonderful downtown restaurants, theater, sports events, and museums. We even have a Zoo. FIVE MINUTES from ISU and IWU colleges. We are right off Route66 and right next to a Bike & Running trail.
