Breakfast Sausage Casserole

Serves: 10Ingredients:
- 2 lb breakfast sausage
- 3 cups milk (non-lowfat)
- 1/4 cup flour
- 2 lb frozen hash browns
- 1 1/4 cups sharp cheddar cheese, grated
- 4 green onions, chopped
Steps:
- Brown sausage. Add flour (do not drain grease). Add milk until mixture is bubbly and thickened.
- Spray a 9x13 casserole dish. Place hash browns evening in pan. Top with 1 cup of the cheese and some of the green onions.
- Pour sausage mixture over hash browns. Top with remaining cheese and onions.
- Bake at 350 for 45 minutes. (This dish may be made ahead of time but increase the cooking time when it has been refrigerated)
