Apple quiche
Total preparation time: 15 minutes
Serves: 6Ingredients:
- 1 Pie Crust unbaked
- 2 Apples, peeled and sliced
- 1 1/2 cups Whipping Cream
- 1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
- 3 Eggs
- 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons Sugar
- 2 tablespoons Butter
Steps:
- Saute peeled and sliced apples in the butter and cinnamon until apples are tender, about 5 minutes.
- Meanwhile, whisk together the whipping cream and eggs until well blended.
- Place apples in bottom of crust and cover with the cheese.
- Pour egg mixture over apples and cheese.
- Bake in preheated 325 degree oven about 35 minutes or until set. Let cool about five minutes before slicing and serving.
