Pecan fig spooned Pie

Total preparation time:  20 min
Serves:  8

Ingredients:

  • 3 Eggs
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cup Dark corn syrup
  • 2 tablespoons Butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 1/2 cups Pecans
  • 1 teaspoon flour
  • 1/2 cup chopped figs(fresh or frozen)
  • 1 Deep dish Pie crust

Steps:

  1. preheat oven to 350 degrees Beat Eggs slightly with fork in medium bowl.Add sugar,corn syrup,butter,vanilla,flour and figs;stir until blended.Stir in Pecans.Place cookie sheet in preheated oven.Pour filling in frozen crust, wrap edges of pie crust with foil to keep from overbrowning and bake 55 to 60 minutes.cool.instead of sliceing pie spoon dip pie in pretty dessert glasses and top with whip topping

The Green Room has all the charm of days gone by. comfortable and cozy. private bath. Open the curtains in this room and you are in the treesThe Parlor is for relaxing. Look at a magazine or just enjoy the year round fireplace and snuggle with your special someone.
The squirells love to play on the fence  and jump in the Big Pecan trees that canapy the houseThe Blue Room is bright and cheerful with a nautical theme. this upstairs room looks out over the large Fig trees .Queen bed and shares a Jack and Jill bath with  the pink room
Day lily's are abundant at the Fig Tree. They are in full bloom in May. This beauty finds it home in the prayer gardenA bunny peaks out from under this beauty which grows along side the fence
