Charlotte's Pecan Cornbread: Appetizer-Snack

Ingredients:

  • 2/3 cup Flower

  • 2/3 cup Ground Pecans

  • 2/3 cup Yellow Cornmeal

  • 1/2 cup Sugar

  • 3/4 teaspoon Baking Powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon Baking Soda

  • 2 Eggs, beaten

  • 1/2 cup Buttermilk

  • 1/3 cup Butter, melted

Step 1:

Preheat oven to 400 degress. In a medium bowl mix together dry ingredients.

Step 2:

In a separate bowl, combine eggs, buttermilk, and melted butter. Add all at once to dry ingredients and stir until moistened.

Step 3:

Pour into a greased 9 inch backing pan. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes.
