We had an excellent time staying at this B&B. The staff was very helpful. The breakfast and baked goods were excellent. It was convenient to several attractions and restaurants. I would stay there again when I am in Savannah.

I strongly suggest that you call the Inn to confirm the details on the email confirmation you receive. I requested the Azalea room, with two queen beds, and that is what was printed on my email confirmation. When we got to the Inn, we learned we were in the Jasmine room, one queen bed. As the Inn was full, no change could be made. The person at the reception desk was very quick to try to remedy the situation by bringing us a roll-away bed. He truly seemed to be at a loss as to how the error occurred. The room we had was lovely and we did enjoy our stay. When I returned home I found a gift certificate in the mail from the Inn for a two-night stay for two persons - and hopefully my friend, who slept on the roll-away bed, will be able to use it.

The accommodations were adequate, but a number of minor annoyances added up to a less than stellar experience. The bed squeaked intolerably with every minor movement. The television emitted a low-pitched whine when turned off. The door to the television cabinet would not stay open (we had to prop it open with a wad of kleenex to be able to watch the tv). The stop for the cold water knob in the tub was missing or broken (the knob would keep turning because there was nothing to stop it in the "off" position, we had to find off manually and carefully set the knob to that position). Although wi-fi in all rooms was an advertised amenity, the signal in our 3rd floor room was spotty at best. The food was edible, but nothing special. 2 of our 3 breakfasts featured scrambled eggs and sausages. The evening tea chocolate chip cookies tasted to be slice-and-bake, and were a bit over baked. As a bit of a foodie, the offerings were a disappointment. The building and neighborhood were wonderful though, all of historic Savannah is quite beautiful. The staff was very friendly, and the owner stopped by our table to personally ensure we were enjoying our stay. Those seeking the "traditional" B&B experience should be aware that this particular establishment is run more like the Inn part of its name than the B&B part though. The higher number of guests made for a more impersonal stay than might be expected in a B&B with only 6 or so rooms.

My husband and I visited Savannah for a long weekend. Savannah's Bed and Breakfast was a great choice. It was within walking distance to everything; we didn't have to drive our car. Breakfasts were delicious!
