General Information

Splendor Farms is a relaxing country escape, one hour from New Orleans, where memories are created. Situated on 30-acre working rural farm, we have 3 guest bedrooms, horseback riding, swimming pool, poolside jacuzzi, a dachshund kennel, petting zoo, and nearby hiking, biking, and nature trails. Just 1/4 mile up the road is the scenic Bogue Chitto River, where you can ride horses, fish, canoe, tube, or just have a picnic and enjoy all the nature surrounding you. Splendor Farms is perfect for nature and animal lovers, and busy city folks looking for a place "to get away from it all." We can accommodate you, your children, and your pets. Guest room rates include horseback riding, pool and poolside jacuzzi, fishing, and a hearty gourmet breakfast courtesy of hostess Kelly Bensabat. 1 hour north of New Orleans and 1 1/2 hours east of Baton Rouge.

  "La Petite Maison" (The Little House) is a private apartment perfect for families, small groups, or couples seeking a private home away from home. It has a full kitchen, comfortable living and dining areas, air conditioning, satellite TV, DVD and VHS. Fully furnished, it sleeps up to 6-7 people. Cost is $275/night (including meals), or $250/night (without meals). Rates are based on double occupancy. An extra charge of $25 per night applies for each additional person.

  Cancellations within 14 days of arrival/check-in date are subject to charge for the entire reservation if room cannot be comparably re-booked. Any nights that are re-booked will be refunded. Cancellations at least 2 weeks prior to check-in date will receive a full refund, except for a $50 cancellation fee. Bounced check fee is $30.00.
