BB IJ is situated in the center of Amsterdam along the outer Singel canal. It is a dream location for tourist and businesspersons alike. You are seconds from buses, two tramlines, or better ‘go Dutch’ and take a bike into the city. Central Station is a fifteen to twenty minute walk, and Artis Zoo just five to ten minutes away. BB Ij’s garden lies on Lozing’s canal with a view to the only surviving Windmill in the center of Amsterdam which is also a famous (old) brewery serving special Dutch ales.

  From Amsterdam Schiphol Airport and Central Station: -On the airport you buy a train ticket to Amsterdam Central Station - If you get the chance also buy a bus ticket for 6,80 euro (this is a buscard called strippenkaart in dutch. You can use it in buses and trams throughout Holland and can be used multiple times. You only need one strippenkaart for two persons. Buying your tickets on the bus is more expensive) -Take the train to Central Station (every 15 min trains are running). This will take 15 min. -From Central Station you take Bus number 22 into the direction: Indische Buurt . (the other direction will take you to the opposite site of town). The sixth stop you get of the bus. The name of the stop is Zeeburgerstraat (ask the bus driver for this stop and he'll attend you when to get of the bus). -From Zeeburgerstraat it is 1 minute walk to Zeeburgerdijk 17 (see also map link below) Or you can take a cab from the airport.
