General Information

Built in the late 1800s as pharmaceutical laboratory, later transformed into a hay-loft, Casavaliversi is now an enchanting Bed & Breakfast.

Just recently it has been completely renovated by its owner, renowned Florentine antique dealer Mirella Mazzierli. With love for every detail, she has created a harmonius ambiance and welcoming charm both indoors and out.

B & B Casavaliversi's furnishings are tasteful and eclectic. The four double rooms and one apartment all have private baths. Additional amenities included in the room rate include the use of a panoramic dinning room with a fireplace, satellite TV, internet connection in each room and of course a hearty breakfast.

Located in the hillsides of Sesto Fiorentino, known as Colonnata, 8 Km north-west of Florence, B & B Casavaliversi strategically offers its clients both the proximity of downtown Florence and the tranquillity of the Tuscan country side.
B & B Casavaliversi is also only 3 Km from the Florence Airport and 1 Km from the main turnpike " Autostrada del Sole".

  From the main Turnpikes From the main "A1" north-south turnpike called "Autostrada del Sole", exit at "FIRENZE NORD" towards "CENTRO". You are now on the "A11" east-west turnpike called "Firenze Mare". Exit at SESTO FIORENTINO. The exit ramp will become two lanes. Stay in the right lane which will oblige you to circle completely around the NOVOTEL & IBIS Hotels. At the traffic light turn left towards SESTO FIORENTINO CENTRO. Once you have passed under the underpass of the turnpike, follow the directions below from the asterisk.

• Directions from airport:
  From the Florence airport When you exit the Airport, turn immediately right at the first traffic light. You will be on the A 11 turnpike (Firenze-Pisa). After 1.5 Km exit at the first exit " SESTO FIORENTINO". On the exit ramp bear to you right and follow signs for "SESTO FIORENTINO - CENTRO". follow the directions below from the asterisk. * * After 1.2 Km you will come to a roundabout, take the second right towards "CENTRO". You will immediately come to a second roundabout. Take the second right towards "CENTRO - COLONNATA". You will be on Via Cesare Pavese, proceed straight under a small overpass. At the third traffic traffic light, turn left on Via 1° Settembre. At the first traffic light, turn right on Via Matteotti. Proceed straight after traffic light. The road now becomes Via Cavour and you are in Colonnata. After 200 mt you will turn left over a small stone bridge then immediately right (still called Via Cavour). Follow this small winding road ( you will be obliged to turn right on Via Fiorelli then left on Via della Tosa). At the end of Via della Tosa turn right. You will pass through a very small tree lined square. Turn left after the square and immediately right onto VIA VALIVERSI. Proceed to number 61 on the left hand side. You will see our big pink house.
