General InformationRegistered as a Kentucky Landmark, the Fairchild House, is a low Queen Anne victorian house designed by the architectural firm of George F. Barber and associate Kluttz of Knoxville, TN, for the prominent Monticello merchant, Wilburn Filmore Fairchild. Fairchild and his family moved into the house in 1906. Recent restoration has allowed the Fairchild House to open exactly 100 years later as a Bed and Breakfast.
Fairchild's Bed & Breakfast, LLC, features woodwork, sections of original wall papering, seven period fireplaces, original poplar hardwood floors, Victorian furnishings and antiques, a wrap-around porch, DSL internet access, and a Southern breakfast.
