Nestled in the Ozark Mountains in Eureka Springs, Arkansas, three 1800s cottages make up this unique Historic lodging Establishment. Heart of the Hills is located on the Historic District Loop, three blocks from the shopping district. We invite you to stay in the carriage house or in one of the private wings of the main cottages. Each unit in Heart of the Hills is uniquely and beautifully decorated with a blend of antique and contemporary furnishings that bids you to relax, romance or refresh.

Heart of the Hills now proudly offers for your consideration a romantic, magical, historic cottage off premises. Called: Rose Cottage, this Victorian two-story cottage is privately located above historic Sweet Spring amidst giant oak trees, wonderful scenic vistas and a hidden pathway that will lead you to downtown shops and restaurants in moments. You will be going into a magical time warp that will transport you back in time so you can refresh, relax and maybe even find some romance. If you saw the movie, Somewhere in Time, then you can imagine what magical experience awaits you at Rose Cottage. Filled with priceless antiques, old chinz fabric covered pillows and chairs,, floral hooked rugs and lace curtains Rose Cottage will enchant you in its charm.



Whether it is a romantic getaway, family outings or girls shopping trip, the Heart of the Hills will provide it! We welcome you to luxuriate with gorgeous bedding, private sitting rooms and double Jacuzzis. All offer private entrance, porches, decks and parking. Wake up to a delicious, individually made breakfast each morning! Watch our gardens as we lovingly restore them as you relax on your private porch or deck.

  • Deposit amount required (Reservations must be guaranted with credit card in the amount of a one-night stay or 50% of total reservation)
  • Check in time is 3:00 PM and Check out time is 11:00 AM
  • Cancellations:
    * Prior to 14 days of arrival, a refund /credit will be given minus a $50.00 re-booking fee (per Suite) * Refunds are not given for reservations cancelled within 13 days or less prior to your arrival. A non-transferable voucher (valid for 6 months) will be issued to use for a later reservation minus the $50.00 re-booking fee (per Suites). The voucher reservation may not be rescheduled after it is made ~ if this occurs, the value of the voucher will be forfeited. Cancellation voucher may not be used in the months of June, October, November or Valentine's Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day, Holidays or Festivals/Special Events.

    For 33 years David worked in healthcare starting as an RN in the NICU of Texas Children's Hospital. After completing dual Masters degrees he moved into administration of hospitals completing his health care career as Senior Vice President of a hospital in Oklahoma.David bought Heart of the Hills to fulfill a life long dream. Back in the 1980's when David worked in Little Rock Arkansas, he frequented Eureka Springs and dreamed of moving here one day and owning a B&B. Well dreams do come true.
