Rick has the gift of hospitality. His home is beautifully decorated with antiques. The waffles (and the rest of the breakfast) were scrumptious. Wonderful small town location. We were treated like royalty. Above our expectations. Outstanding b&b.

Santa's visit to The Victorian Tudor Inn!!Casual Living Room
The Dining Room exudes warmth through the spacious baywindows, which contains a massive window seat. The ceiling has wonderful hand painted designs and from it hangs a majestic imported glass chandelier. Two lighted built-in cabinets, original to the house, contain a wonderful collection of 19th century European porcelains. The marble top sideboard, a civil war era hand carved piece, is in immaculate condition. It was acquired from an Amish family in central Ohio, as was the Victorian marble top and back breakfast table. The front parlor containing several Victorian chairs and a Victorian sofa in a pink designed fabric and an Empire mahogany sofa in rich red french fabric. A pair of 18th century enameled Chinese urns, turned lamps, grace the front windows along with two red satin "Gone-With-The-Wind" gas lamps. Several paintings are in the parlor, including two original early 19th Century New England paintings, one by the sought after Newport, RI artist, Elijah Baxter. An early 19th Century whale oil lamp, manufactured by the famed Mt. Washington Glass Co., with double overlay glass and original prisms and double oval shade sits atop an unique "turtle" style marble top table.
This foyer is in the front part of the Inn and houses some of the Innkeepers 19th Century Staffordshire collection. It is graced by an original window seat and several exquisite paintings (e.g. civil war era painting of a Hummingbird and a water color of a child from the same period) and a pair of 19th Century bird prints by contempories of John Audubon in original frames. The Inn's second Victorian hall tree is in this foyer. The steps is one path to the upstairs suites and a large, hand carved "Majestic Lady" wall mirror, acquired in Boston, greets the guests as they go to the second floor. The suite also has a Victorian desk and lovely cherub decorated desk chair and beautiful hand carved sofa. The suite contains a large screen HD flat screen TV with 185 DirecTV channels. Several early 20th Century lamps that are highly decorative grace the room along with paintings and other wall hangings. The floor has radiant heat, four level spacious & lighted closet and is located on the first floor of the Inn.

Several original paintings by well known artists and several unique vintage lamps grace the room. A large walk-in closet and hand-carved Armoire houses the flat screen TV.
