Traveling With Your Pet Packages
05/01/08 - 12/31/08
Even though The Victorian Tudor Inn can not permit pets, we love them, as many of you do. This package will assist our guests who must travel with their pet(s). For additional costs of $10 per night you can board your dog or cat at Park's Pooch Parlor, approximately three blocks from the Inn. The Parlor has a fenced back yard and the owners live on the premises. Please note that proof of rabies/bordetella vaccines are required.

You can also take advantage of a "fluff and puff" for your pet. For an extra $25 give your loved one a bath and have their toenails and ears cleaned along with a special bow or bandana to get them picture perfect.

And speaking of pictures, we have the wonderful opportunity to offer you a family portrait with your pet. Firelands Photography of Bellevue will take a portrait on site at The Victorian Tudor Inn of your pet, you and other family members for $35 - $55 (Mon - Fri).
 
Romance Packages

This package will put you in one of our large suites with a marvelous separate Jacuzzi bathroom. Included will be plenty of candles, a bottle of local Northern Ohio wine (your choice, red or white)- wrapped in fine linen, in an vintage silver wine cooler (a non-alcoholic bottle can be substituted), Waterford wine glasses, fresh fruit and fresh flowers in a vase for you to take home with you. Also, this package will provide you a basket of culinary delights. This specially prepared and designed basket from our local baker will contain cookies, candies - including truffles and mints, all homemade, that all the locals rave about, and for good reason. This, of course is in addition to the robes, slippers, and large breakfast that are always provided. A later breakfast time will be accommodated to allow you to sleep in the next morning; along with a later check-out time.

Price: $110 added to the price of the suite; $130 if you desire long stem roses for your flowers
 
Girlfriends' Getaways

Plan to meet your friends for a night or two at The Victorian Tudor Inn. Plan to be spoiled! Rent the entire house at a special price and allow our staff to take care of all the cleaning and cooking. Relax in the hot tub with an LCD TV and use the living rooms, porch, deck, exercise room to mingle and catch up. In addition to the usual full service breakfast you will be treated to unlimited pizza, freshly made chocolates, and other refreshments during the evening. Make arrangements for on-site massages.

This special package allows you to "take over" this magnificent house during your stay and to comfortably accommodate 14 people. Call for prices and any special requests you may have.
 
Spa/massage Specials

***To augment the relaxation of your overnight stay add a massage to your package from SASS Salon & Spa, minutes from the Inn. Your massage can be done on-site; either in your suite or in our dedicated Massage Suite located in the Exercise Room. Prices: 1 full hr. for one person: $65; 1/2 hour for one person: $40; or a full hour for two people: $75.
 
Weddings/commitment Ceremonies

The Victorian Tudor Inn can accommodate a variety of weddings, from small wedding parties of 6 to larger parties of 125 guests. The house, containing two different distinct public areas, each with its own special fireplace and ambiance, can comfortably accommodate smaller wedding gatherings from 6-35 people. The grounds can accommodate up to 125 guests. Private, off-street parking is provided. Valet parking can be arranged.


It is recommended that you speak and meet with one of our staff members to personally design your special wedding package. We have unique vendors who can provide a variety of wedding props and designer style discounted wedding gowns (Fairy Tale Weddings), caterers (Blue Ribbon Catering, Oddo Catering), and flowers. We can also arrange for wedding cakes, tents, horse and buggy and other miscellaneous needs.


Our horse and carriage vendor has several options. Check-out their web site at www.windyhollowfarm.us. We can also arrange for a state authorized and licensed Wedding Officiate.

Also, available for our wedding guests is a 2007 white Cadillac DTS and/or a beautifully restored 1937 Powder Chevy Street Rod.

There is a cost, in addition to the room rate, for use of the Inn and/or grounds for weddings. We do have special pricing for our guests who reserve the Inn's rooms for the night before and/or night of the wedding. With advance notice, the entire Inn and all its facilities, can be rented for your family and wedding party. The Inn can accommodate 12-14 overnight guests.
 
Lake Erie Outing

WEATHER PERMITTING: Enjoy the best that North Central Ohio has to offer by spending some quality time on Lake Erie. The Victorian Tudor Inn is able to extend to its guests two excursions on Lake Erie. Enjoy these trips under the auspices of experienced Lake Erie seaman, Capt. Rick Dunlap, on board his 30 ft. Sport craft docked at Catawba Island (which is accessible by vehicle).

*Fish for walleye and perch during an up to four hour (water time) excursion. Capt. Ray's experience will lead you to the best local areas for your catch. All rods, tackle, ice are provided. $425 in addition to your room charge.

*Enjoy a relaxing 2 hour tour of the North Central Ohio shoreline. See Cedar Point and Sandusky from the Lake and visit the islands. $225 in addition to your room charge.

Note: -all excursions can accommodate up to 6 people. A different boat can be secured for larger parties with adequate advance notice.

-It is highly recommended that all excursions be booked via The Victorian Tudor Inn at least two-three weeks in advance. We will make every effort to accommodate last minute requests based on availability of space.

-At your request, longer and more elaborate excursions can be specially designed for your needs.
 
Wine Lovers Getaways

Guests of The Victorian Tudor Inn can enjoy complimentary wine tasting at Sand Hill Winery, just minutes from the Inn. The Winery provides live musical entertainment on Friday and Saturday evenings.
 
Scrapbooking & Quilting Package and Program

Gather all your friends to engage in your hobby for an evening or the weekend. Leave the cleaning and cooking to the staff at The Victorian Tudor Inn. The Inn will comfortably accommodate 14 women. Enough tables, chairs and outlets are available for your needs. The entire house, with its working fireplaces,exercise room and private Hot Tub room and beautiful gardens are all yours to use. As usual, a full breakfast is provided for all in your party, along with continuous snacks, coffee, soda, and other beverages throughout the day.

SPECIAL OFFER: The Innkeeper, a former University Dean and antique appraiser, will provide a program on the history of both quilting and scrapbooking (Yes, scrapbooking was very popular in the Victorian era). Vintage examples will be shown.

Rental of entire house, May through Sept., $900 a night.

Foyer and guest entrance.  This area is graced with a magnificent Victorian marble top "hall tree" in original and superb condition.  The hanging ceiling lamp is a large acorn (the Inn's trademark) designed in the style of Tiffany stain glass and an imported hand woven carpet brought back by the Innkeeper from Belguim.Happy Holidays at The Victorian Tudor Inn!
Santa's visit to The Victorian Tudor Inn!!Casual Living Room
 The Dining Room exudes warmth through the spacious baywindows, which contains a massive window seat.  The ceiling has wonderful hand painted designs and from it hangs a majestic imported glass chandelier.  Two lighted built-in cabinets, original to the house, contain a wonderful collection of 19th century European porcelains.  The marble top sideboard, a civil war era hand carved piece, is in immaculate condition.  It was acquired from an Amish family in central Ohio, as was the Victorian marble top and back breakfast table.The front parlor containing several Victorian chairs and a Victorian sofa in a pink designed fabric and an Empire mahogany sofa in rich red french fabric.  A pair of 18th century enameled Chinese urns, turned lamps, grace the front windows along with two red satin "Gone-With-The-Wind" gas lamps.  Several paintings are in the parlor, including two original early 19th Century New England paintings, one by the sought after Newport, RI artist, Elijah Baxter.  An early 19th Century whale oil lamp, manufactured by the famed Mt. Washington Glass Co., with double overlay glass and original prisms and double oval shade sits atop an unique "turtle" style marble top table.
This foyer is in the front part of the Inn and houses some of the Innkeepers 19th Century Staffordshire collection.  It is graced by an original window seat and several exquisite paintings (e.g. civil war era painting of a Hummingbird and a water color of a child from the same period) and a pair of 19th Century bird prints by contempories of John Audubon in original frames.  The Inn's second Victorian hall tree is in this foyer. The steps is one path to the upstairs suites and a large, hand carved "Majestic Lady" wall mirror, acquired in Boston, greets the guests as they go to the second floor. Royal Oak Suite with 19th Century Asthetic movement marble top bedroom set, including a Queen size bed.  The suite also has a Victorian desk and lovely cherub decorated desk chair and beautiful hand carved sofa.  The suite contains a large screen HD flat screen TV with 185 DirecTV channels.  Several early 20th Century lamps that are highly decorative grace the room along with paintings and other wall hangings.  The floor has radiant heat, four level spacious & lighted closet and is located on the first floor of the Inn.
The Royal Oak Suite's private bathroom, with Italian tile floor, granite lined shower and counter top and radiant heat floor.The Greenslade Suite is a two bedroom suite, and this is the main bedroom.  This room is so large this picture can only show you a portion of it.  It has a Victorian marble top bedroom set, with a queen size bed. Also a wonderful mahogany banker's desk, with leather top and high back leather chair is in the suite.  Along with a unique down filled couch in rich white moon and star fabric.  Several original paintings by well known artists and several unique vintage lamps grace the room.  A large walk-in closet and hand-carved Armoire houses the flat screen TV.
The Greenslade Suite bathroom is exquisite!  This spacious bathroom has a two person jacuzzi and a seperate two person shower.  Both the jacuzzi and and sink counter top are have granite tops, and the counter top and mirror wrap around two walls!  A Victorian bamboo rack holds the bathroom's spa towels and there are plently of candles and special lighting for just that right mood.The Nautica Suite is elegant.  It contains a four poster canopy "Prince of Wales" mahogany bed along with a 19th Century "ship captains" table next to the bed which holds the flat screen TV and the Waterford lamp. Six original nautical paintings from Cape Cod, Lake Erie and Europe  grace the walls.  A lovely vintage writing desk and chair(s) is bordered by a wonderful window seat with grand windows towering above it.  Also for your comfort is a comfortable couch in a deep sea blue fabric and a walk-ln closet.
The Nautica Suite bathroom has both a two person jacuzzi and a two person shower.  A Victorian bamboo rack holds the spa towels and other bathroom amenities for your use.  The East and North side of the bathroom has wonderful vintage windows and below them is an exquisite window seat.  Several nautical themed paintings and vintage prints grace the bathroom.  Part of the bathroom floor contains the original hardwood floors.Dining Room of the  750 sq. ft. Extended Stay Apartment; including a Centennial (ca. 1876) mahogany dining room table and chairs, vintage Tambour desk with antique student's lamp, handwoven Oriental carpet, Boston inlaid cherry bookcase, ca. 1890 and wonderful early 20th Century European paintings.  The bedroom (queen bed, living room, kitchen, and bathroom also have unique antique furnishings and amenities.
