General Information

The rooms are beautifully furnished with a mixture of English and French antiques. Independence Cottage is a cozy, private apartment complete with a full kitchen, rain shower and separate bedroom. It is perfect for the "girlie" weekend or for families. La Bahia Lodge is a converted barn that is rustic but still luxurious. It has a full kitchen, bath with tub and rainshower and will sleep up to 5 (queen bed in bedroom).

Breakfast is a hearty and delicious Continental breakfast of items like juice, toast, biscuits and gravy or home baked muffins or bread, quiche, Victorian French Toast, breakfast casseroles, fresh fruit salad. The table is all set and ready in your cottage or room and breakfast is left in your room so you can enjoy it when you like.

The Innkeeper brings her experience with Bed and Breakfast in Britain, and at the same time incorporates Texas hospitality for a perfectly balanced experience.

    Independence Cottage will accommodate 2 guests in the bedroom, and up to 2 on a full-sized sofa bed. There is also a roll-a-way bed available for use in any of the rooms or the cottage. The bathroom offers a walk-in rain shower.
    La Bahia Lodge is a rennovated barn which offers a rustic feel but modern conveniences and luxuries! A separate bedroom with queen bed, two twin beds (day beds) in the living area and one twin trundle make for a total capacity of 5 persons. There is a walk-in rain shower as well as a deep soaking bathtub and a full kitchen.

  • Cancellations:
    Refunds of deposits (less a $25.00 processing fee per room) will be given if notice of cancellation is received at least 10 days prior to the reservation date (less $25.00 per room processing fee) and at least 30 days prior notice is required for special events. After the cut-off date, the total amount of the room charge is due. If you are unable to stay with us, we will attempt to rent the room to another party and if successful, we will refund your deposit less the processing fee.
