Five miles south of Ithaca, and convenient to the Seneca and Cayuga Lake Wine Trails, Cornell University and Ithaca College, the Dane Emerson House is a distinctive bed and breakfast. Enjoy this charming Queen Anne Victorian updated with an ecclectic blend of unique furniture from all over the world. All rooms include a private custom bathroom, Manor and La Mer with Jacuzzi tubs, wireless internet access, LCD television, and the finest appointments. Picnic on our 5 acre lawn, walk in our valley along the river, woodland trails or explore our historic and unique barn.   From Ithaca Route 13 South Routes 13, 34 and 96 combine briefly to head south out of Ithaca. Route 34/96 is also named West Danby Road. Traveling South on routes 13, 34/96 take the Route 34/96 left split to Spencer (clearly marked). This split is passed Buttermilk Falls Park, just outside of the Ithaca City limits. From here, the Dane Emerson House is approximately 4 miles on your right. Additional visual markers: Sunny’s Self Storage on the left, at approximately 2 miles out of Ithaca Little Tree Orchard sign and Newfield Depot Road on the right, at approximately 3 miles out of Ithaca. From here, routes 34/96- West Danby Road climb and bank left, a 50MPH left bank yield sign will be visible on your right 2 more left bank yield signs can be seen – begin to slow considerably turn on your right turn signal at this point, a valley should be visible on the right where the Dane Emerson House is located a barn will be visible on right as you slow and approach the driveway slow considerably as the driveway requires are sharp right turn the drive entrance is clearly marked: 1642 West Danby Road
