General Information

High Meadows Vineyard Inn is listed on the National Historic Register and a Virginia Landmark. High Meadows is located in Scottsville,a true small-town on the beautiful James River, just 18 miles from downtown Charlottesville. Our 8 room inn is a marriage of an 1832 Federalist home and a 1882 Italianate Victorian, but with all the amenities of the 21st century. Jetted tubs, king size beds, luxurious Anichini linens, our 13 acres of woodlands, beautiful gardens, 1-acre Pinot Noir vineyard and hilltop location add up to a peaceful getaway from the everyday. Visit in winter to discover our charming getaway in a way most people don't get to see - with fireplaces in many rooms, holiday decorations up from November 30th until January 5th, and seasonal treats always on the sideboard - we give a modern twist to Victorian hospitality.
