We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at High Meadows Inn. We arrived about four on Friday afternoon and walked the grounds before dinner. Breakfasts were excellent, and we enjoyed visiting with the other guests. We stayed in the Daffodil room. The mattress needs replacing (slumps to a V in the middle, and I found myself clinging to the edge trying to avoid rolling), but otherwise we enjoyed the room.

    Innkeeper Response
We so appreciate feedback from our guests! The Daffodil now has a lovely new mattress - and a rave review from the first guests to try it out! Thank-you again for your honest and helpful feedback.

The innkeeper was very welcoming and super helpful. She knew all about the area and we had a great conversation with her. The GPS winery tour included very different places and was great value and experience.

We spent a very restful weekend at High Meadows . We liked the welcoming and the family-like environment. The setting is perfect for a romantic or reconnecting weekend. It can also suit someone who needs a quiet and a recovery getaway. The cook pays attention to the details of a healthy eating. The manager (Nancy) is caring and very attentive to the needs of her clients. This is really a good hideout for a romantic getaway with outstanding service.

Top notch attention to details that will ensure a warm, comfortable stay: distilled water in room fridge, meals with special touches, and a friendly hostess. Highly recommended!

My wife and I celebrated her birthday at High Meadows and, as always, came home rested and impressed. Nancy does a great job making us "one of the family"...a tremendously wonderful "mini-vacation". The staff at High Meadows is always attentive to the smallest detail from flowers to wine and cheese trays and, of course, fantastic breakfasts!
