General InformationSelected as 'one of the best places to stay in the South', the Whitehead Inn, comprised of 4 buildings and located in a picturesque setting in the downtown historic section of Wilson, NC, recaptures the elegance and style of an era gone by. Quiet Victorian charm abounds in an atmosphere of modern day conveniences. Guests can browse any of the numerous antiques shops that have given Wilson the title 'Antique Capital of North Carolina.' The Whitehead Inn has been featured regularly in the Wilson Daily Times and was the cover story of the December 2007 issue of PRIME Magazine. After completion of extensive renovation to the property, the Whitehead Inn was honored to receive the Visual Improvement Award in October 2007 from the Wilson Chamber of Commerce.
