General Information

Heron's View offers relaxation, recreation, and on-site access to the Intracoastal Waterway. We are 5 minutes from Harbour Village Marina, 15 minutes from the beaches of Topsail Island, and 30 minutes from downtown Wilmington. There is a lot to see and do in the area, whatever your interests. If you want peace and quiet, your private balcony and a front porch offer breezes, interesting wildlife, and sometimes entertainment provided by Intracoastal Waterway travelers.

Woodbury Wellness Center is on the corner of County Club Drive and Mallard Bay Road. Go one mile on Mallard Bay and when the road turns 90 degrees to the left, turn left with the road and take the second driveway into the yard at Heron's View.   Pat is a retired professional counselor who likes to read, cook, and play with the grandchildren. Mike is a building contractor with hobbies that include woodworking, falconry, and wildlife rehabilitation for raptors and sea birds. Heron's View usually has one hunting bird in residence and Mike's canine falconry partners, Brownie and Rowdy, are "inside dogs."
